We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to help us execute our specific lead generation, brand awareness, presentation and positioning goals. You will support various departments such as Sales and Human Resources with branded content and through social media, advertising and other channels. You will coordinate corporate giving and community involvement projects. You will plan, edit and release quarterly newsletters. A strong ability to write and edit promotional and educational content is necessary. You will prepare and present a monthly marketing report to the Executive Team. 

 

You will not be alone; you will have a Marketing Assistant reporting to you, a solid group of established vendors (digital marketing, graphic design, video production, blogging, printing etc.), and work directly with the Vice President to meet the needs of our stakeholders. Establishing functional ROI metrics as a basis for current and future decision-making is paramount.  

 

Essential Functions

  • Develop and implement strategic and tactical marketing initiatives and budgets.

  • Conceive and write branded advertising campaigns and content.

  • Edit and implement educational content.

  • Investigate new media opportunities.

  • Develop, write and maintain internal and external communication systems (newsletters, emails, publicity).

  • Promote the Company Value Proposition.

  • Manage corporate email signatures.

  • Create, maintain and strengthen JP Pest Services overall brand in all forms of media and presentation.

  • Organize and streamline JP Pest Services' offerings into customer-friendly concepts.

  • Manage all marketing-related vendors.

  • Manage brand imagery and corporate messaging consistency throughout the company through the use of the corporate style guide.

  • Manage and write corporate website content and work closely with our digital vendors to maximize SEO and user experience.

  • Investigate new media opportunities.

  • Strategize, develop and oversee production of video content.

  • Review web analytics, ad word campaigns, etc. on an ongoing basis and generate monthly reports regarding site traffic and campaign efficacy.

 

Work Schedule

  • Typical work hours are 8AM - 5PM. This is an in-person position and will share an office space with the Marketing Assistant.

  • Standard work schedule as needed to successfully meet individual and department goals and objectives. This may include occasional evening and/or weekend hours.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Superior creative and technical writing skills

  • A keen eye for detail and ability to produce high-quality content

  • Demonstrated experience in digital and social platform marketing

  • Strong creativity and marketing skills

  • Must be able to manage many moving parts and details and delegate effectively

  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders throughout the company

  • Organizational and time management skills necessary to complete projects within reasonable time frames

  • Ability to set priorities, work independently, and be self-motivated

  • Positive interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative, courteous working relationships

  • Computer and software skills in Office 365, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, InDesign and Photoshop

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, AdWords and Search

 

Qualifications Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or other related field

  • Demonstrated background in content management, creative writing, advertising concepts, social media, print, media negotiations and digital advertising

  • Demonstrated familiarity with ROI

  • Five years of management experience
