The Role

The Regional Logistics Coordinator (RLC) will play a key role in executing the overall business strategy and tactical planning within defined regional territories. The primary duties for the RLC include advanced planning, auditing work quality, routing for maximum efficiency and customer service. The RLC role will also work closely with field staff to help maintain the flow of daily operations; as well as proactively identifying and removing threats that would hinder operations. The RLC must become a master of our routing software and help to uphold our standards of service delivery.

Blueprint of a Top Regional Logistics Coordinator

Sponge: You are a reflection of our Mission & Vision. In order to effectively navigate the JP waters to help steer the ship, you’ll need to be able to soak up the culture, as well as gain, retain and apply critical information on the job.

Traffic Cop: You keep the flow of traffic moving. In overseeing the service schedule, your job is to ensure that service routes are built efficiently, that obstacles are overturned, and to use creative thinking to foresee expected changes in the seasonal business as it pertains to scheduling.

Pivot Pro: You respond, not react. As much of our business changes with each season, many changes we can foresee, and others we cannot. Your job is to proactively change gears to manage upcoming changes we can predict, as well as to stay grounded while you think on your toes when the waters change unexpectedly.

Solitaire Player: You can work solo. After mastering the routing software, you must be capable of working independently on complex scenarios and be able to resolve most routing issues with minimal supervision.

Dissectologist: You have passion for creating order out of a mess. The schedule can change rapidly, and your position requires an aptitude for complex problem-solving to keep it tidy. Routing efficiency is priority, and it is critical that obstacles are quickly mitigated.

Yoda: You must feel the force around you. Not just between you, me, the tree and the rock, but in the team members you will be working closely with to keep the gears oiled up. The possession of a high-level of business maturity and professionalism is essential, as well as the ability to work closely with members on both the executive management and customer service teams.

Captain: You run this ship. It is in your hands to manage the regional service routes at a level where customers are highly satisfied, and where daily, weekly, and monthly production values are consistently averaging at or above their pre-set goals.

Loquacious, Loquacious, Loquacious: You over-communicate. Just like any other well-run ship, it’s important to make sure that everyone is kept up to speed on the ever-changing currents.


  • Associates Degree in Business Administration or Logistics (Bachelor’s preferred)

  • 5+ years of proven experience in coordination, routing, dispatching, customer service, or other related roles in a company consisting of at least 200 employees.
